Making his way back home, Enrique Gil seals an exclusive deal with the network after his two-year pandemic hiatus
All rise for the King of the Gil! After the long wait of his fans and supporters, Enrique Gil steps foot at Mother Ignacia once again, confirming his stay with ABS-CBN. Bringing his dear pet Millie with him, the all-around matinee idol walked the red carpet with a grand welcome prepared just for him.

Joining Enrique in his contract signing ceremony was his manager Ranvel Rufino, as well as the ABS-CBN executives, namely Chairman Mark Lopez, President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, and Dreamscape Entertainment Head Deo Endrinal.
After the contract signing, the actor expressed his excitement and gratitude for this new milestone, saying “I feel amazing! I’m really excited to be coming back and you know, starting a new path. I’m doing something I’ve never done before, so hopefully, you guys watch out for that.”
In response to this, Cory Vidanes also thanked Enrique for staying in the network. “Over the years, Enrique Gil has proven that his career is built upon his various talents and skills. We’re very excited to collaborate with you for all the coming projects, series, and films. You know that we’re going to give them something different, tell meaningful stories that will engage many audiences globally. That’s what we’re doing, so let’s do this, Enrique!” With a sigh of relief, she adds, “The long wait is over!”
Before the pandemic, Enrique starred in Make It With You alongside his then on-screen partner, Liza Soberano. While Liza is busy forging a career globally, the actor is set on working here in the country.
