The timeless appeal of suiting is the ultimate definition of luxury—let designer Keith Sacasas show you why his work is a total standout

Nothing beats a good old suit. Keith Sacasas grew up knowing that by seeing his parents wear suits, specifically those made by Giorgio Armani, and since then he has been in awe of them. “How could I make something that would stand out from everyone else?” he would ask himself. Then, his own label Sacasas happened.
“My designs are mostly inspired by freedom,” Sacasas says. “Every designer knows the rules—the dos and don’ts—of suits. So, I played with lapels, collars, asymmetry, and some of the subtlest things not many will notice to express the art of being free.”
For this collection, the designer wanted to show the core of his brand. It’s about empowerment and distinctiveness, letting people express their best self in the classiest way possible.
Sacasas had to take a pause during the pandemic and didn’t know how to bounce back or start over—it even got him thinking of quitting. Then, he met a mentor, Cris Aldeguer-Roque, CEO of Kamiseta. Together, they built Sacasas’s brand back up in 2022.
“A lot of people will doubt you and will not believe in you, but as cliché as it may sound, never give up,” Sacasas shares. “There will always be someone who will believe in you. Hold on to that and use it as your power to achieve the unattainable. You have to really want what you’re doing because what you give out is what you will receive. Patience, hope, and hard work.”
