Stylists Melville Sy and Maita Baello curated a look featuring an eye-catching brooch, as Alden Richards asserted his strong confidence at the GMA Gala
There’s always a confident demeanor that takes hold of Alden Richards. At the GMA Gala, he mirrored this persona over glaring camera lights that almost manifested the aurora borealis. Hello, Love, Again, anyone? Dressed to the nines with the help of stylists Melville Sy and Maita Baello of Studio 24c, the actor asserted his stature in a star power that could light up even the Canadian mountains.
“Alden’s red carpet style is something we always look forward to. He’s done a classic tuxedo and modern suits in the past galas,” the styling group said. “For this year’s GMA Gala, we wanted something not too stiff: It’s a classic suit but with playful elements.”
A black Dolce & Gabbana suit’s expert tailoring is mixed with new layering to create a contemporary update on a signature aesthetic. Attached to the label are two gold Schiaparelli brooches in the shape of doves, a menswear trend that recently took flight in red-carpet appearances.
Christian Louboutin shoes grounded his look with red-soled confidence, while a Breguet watch peeked out from under his cuff, reminding everyone that time was on his side.
From his confident stride to his curated ensemble, each detail spoke of a man comfortable in his own skin.
One can’t help but anticipate Alden’s next move on and off-screen, capturing hearts and stirring excitement like a sequel’s plot twist or a dramatic tale of historical fiction.
