In a MEGA exclusive with Leanne Ledesma of Qurator Studio, the stylist reveals what went into choosing Bea’s spotlight-worthy GMA Ball looks.

Dressed as the Night

Leanne tells MEGA, “We [Bea and I] talked about wanting to collaborate with young designers, so this time, we thought to tap Jro Alarcio, who is a a junior stylist at Qurator [Studio] and a talented tailor. The dress is quite simple yet sophisticated, showing off an elegant silhouette with a dose of timeless appeal. It’s been a while since Bea did a mermaid look, and we thought this was a good time to do it.”

An enchanting siren in classic black, Bea could’ve mesmerized guests in this mermaid silhouette at the annual event. But when asked why her team, and the actress herself, did not go with this look, Leanne answers, “This one is like night and the other is day; both are sleek, chic, and timeless.”

Bea knows a classic, timeless look like no other—elegance in simplicity

Bea certainly made a statement with her magnificent white ensemble by ALAÏA; whichever look she went with, she would’ve turned heads nonetheless. Maybe Bea in black could be something the nation sees next time—after all, she has been exploring change and the unfamiliar as of recent in terms of her career, business, and her fashion choices.

Bea’s Sartorial Tale

“Bea’s style has evolved so much,” Leanne tells MEGA. “And what we are learning is her personal style is leaning more towards timeless looks now.”

The actress is indeed the picture of elegance and modern sensuality. Her outfits of late are timeless with form-fitting silhouettes that flatter her physique, made so she can lean into them over and over again. It might not pack the same punch as a vibrant red or gold, but her fashion is classically graceful and often the ideal backdrop for interesting textures. Does that make her style any less impactful? Absolutely not.
