Calling all fashon girls! If you’ve ever been fascinated by fashion week makeup or just generally love seeing editorial beauty looks, you’ll surely love this latest collaboration. After a successful stint with H&M, designer Erdem Moralioglu is back with a global partnership with NARS. As a fashion brand, Erdem is known for its dreamy take to romanticism with designs showcasing cinematic silhouettes in luxe fabrics. If there’s anything that embodies spring, it’s florals and Erdem has absolutely mastered it to a T.
For the current season, Moralioglu takes the official leap from fashion to beauty with a 13-piece makeup range inspired by the English Rose called, “Strange Flowers”. Teaming up with Francois Nars, the assortment has been in development for 2 years and premiered at Moralioglu’s Fall 2018 show. “This was never going to be just another designer collaboration, where you do five new lipstick shades,” Erdem says of Strange Flowers. “It was really interesting to explore my aesthetic in collaboration with Nars and see how far we could push different elements through color and product,” he continues. “It was fascinating to develop new pigments and palettes as well as the cosmetics themselves.”
The Erdem x Nars Strange Flowers collection consists of products for the cheeks, eyes and lips and comes in floral packaging. Here’s a sneak peak of some of the products in the range that we’re absolutely buzzing for!
Lip Powder Poison Rose Palette
