Female Celebrities at the Vogue Philippines Gala 2023

These celebrities graced the Vogue Philippines Gala in their black and white interpretations of fashion that’s all about refresh and rewear.

In a world where binaries like black and white, as well as old and new exist, a concept like fashion comes along to marry and blur the lines of one and the other. The backbone of style is the constant innovation of basic ideas, and a number of stars who graced the Vogue Philippines Gala 2023 with that in mind.

MEGA Entertainment rounds up the female celebrities who graced the occasion in their own iterations of rewearing and refreshing fashion’s purpose in their lives. With that, here are the stars who were screaming colorful creativity in black and white at Vogue’s anniversary night.

Anne Curtis

The Vogue Philippines December 2022 cover girl went for an androgynous ensemble courtesy of her reworn Saint Laurent suit and swept up mane. Sticking with the theme, she did not only do a rewear, but also a refresh of her own Vogue PH cover.

Nadine Lustre

Nadine not only cements her horror queen status today in reel time, but also in her gala glam. Last night, the actress channeled the Queen of the Damned energy in a black Mark Bumgarner number.

Bea Alonzo

In an exclusive interview with MEGA Entertainment, the actress shared that choosing the Toni Maticevski archival piece number wasn’t an easy decision to make. “I had a couple of options, but when I saw this dress, I immediately said that I had to wear it,” she shared.

Liza Soberano

Taking charge of the theme in her own terms, Hope embodied her personal story of a refreshed life chapter by donning Rajo Laurel’s “Chrysalis” art in fashion piece.

Sarah Lahbati

According to the actress, collaborating with designer Mark Bumgarner is always a good experience, and that translated to her bowed off shoulder white frock that added to her head turning look.

Gabbi Garcia

Keeping up with a newfound daring side, the Unbreak My Heart star went sleek in sheer for the gala. Elevating her look tonight was her golden bling, matching her illuminated beauty look for the night.

Rewear and refresh can also come in structure and lining, and that’s exactly what the Miss Universe 2015 did with her velvet number. This year, the deep v neckline of the dress housed Pia’s slithering bling, the Bvlgari Serpenti.

Bianca Gonzalez

Dressing up for the occasion in a reworked Neric Beltran creation, Bianca donned a refreshed take on her number from the MEGA Ball in 2019. Coming from a backless bling, the host-personality transformed the gown into a halter neckline this time around.

Dolly De Leon

The A Very Good Girl star went for flowy structure in a black archival Sassa Jimenez piece with pink bubble sleeves. This element added extra oomph to Dolly’s dress, bending the black and white code with a little accent.
