Photography is a craft not all are made for. It takes skill, passion, discipline, and of course, creativity for you to excel in such an exacting and competitive field. With that said, all photographers deserve recognition—no matter their gender.
With recent news of brands mainly focusing on male photographers, it’s sad to see how Filipina photographers of equal caliber have not been recognized in the same way. Here’s a short list of some photographers we think deserve the spotlight.

A name familiar to all, Shaira Luna is a photographer beloved by many. Her photos give a whimsical and ethereal feel, making it recognizable anywhere. An expert in her craft, Shaira Luna has worked with the some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry such as Kim Chiu, Kathryn Bernardo, and Liza Soberano, to name a few. Model, photographer, and fashion designer—this Filipina seems to have a talent for it all. A true fashionista, she focused her photography on fashion and portraits, and has since worked with different publications and celebrities.
