There was a time when paparazzi photos were flooding social media platforms and it gave people the opportunity to see what the celebrities were wearing. Most of the time, the style they had back then were the must-cops of fashion, which is why pieces like bomber jackets and baggy sweats ended up becoming our go-to airport look.

While spotting celebrities at the airport is no groundbreaking event, checking out their fits became a big deal in Korean culture since eagle eyed fans would quickly research what each idol was wearing. Because of this, the interest towards airport fashion peaked even more as fans from around the world were seeing more content of their favorite celebrities.

The styles they wear at the airport had a certain range to it, but still done with comfort. Minimalist looks consisted of thick sweaters and simple leggings, while others were creative with their choice of patterns and prints. That being said, there’s undoubtedly more pressure to add some edge and personality for an airport look.

If you’re thinking of dressing up for the airport, then by all means. But if you’re the type to go for comfort over style yet curious enough to mix it up a bit, then why not start with a coat over a simple hoodie and pants? Pairing comfy and stylish wardrobe essentials together is the ideal first step to adding more personality to your airport looks.

With all of the trends lingering around, keep in mind that the key to airport dressing is still and will always be comfort. Combinations such as the fitted-and-loose and baggy-on-baggy are always going to be favorites since they’re not too constricting for a snooze-fest long haul flight.
