Donned in a striking yellow ball gown, Francine Diaz channeled the iconic Disney Princess look for the Star Magical Prom
It was the time when duchesses and princesses alike strolled around in their lavish gowns as they went about their day to the parties held at night. The fashion back then seems like a fairytale to us with their billowed-out skirts, laced-up bodices, and beautiful fabrics coming together into one. It is the dream of many as we grew up with animations and trinkets that remind us of fairy tales.

And just last night as the Star Magical Prom commenced, we can confidently say that Francine Diaz may have lived her princess dream as she arrived in a gown that reminds us of a certain Disney princess designed by Val Taguba.
The young actress arrived in a vivid piece, a rather surprising look for the Bridgerton-themed gala. Francine personified the Princess Belle with her striking yellow ball gown done with modern twists seen on the detailing.
Her dress featured lace appliques from the sweetheart neckline down to the hem of her skirt, but was elevated in a subtle way as the lace sported simple crystal embellishments—giving her look a nice shine under the lights. She continued on with the crystal touch seen on the waist, which also accentuated her dainty figure.
But the scene stealer of her look was definitely the puffed-up sleeves. It was a nice touch of extravagance amidst the seemingly toned down design of her dress. The sleeves mirrored the vivid yellow while feathers were constructed in a billowed-out form—giving a nice dramatic contrast to her overall look.
