Making a grandiose case for the first-ever “Dream Weddings” at the City of Dreams, Francis Libiran showcased the ever-present splendor of the Ting Hun (or known as a Chinese engagement ceremony). As he puts a portion of the limelight on the traditional Chinese celebration, Francis was able to feature a marvelous feast of love and endless possibilities, captivating each of our heart’s desires.
To impeccably unveil his bridal collection, Francis pulled-off a dramatic feat where two stunning lovers—both in pastel-colored ensembles—strut the runway and eventually meeting half-way at the picturesque floral gazebo.
It was then followed by a series of other pastel-colored gowns—ranging from turquoise, amethyst, to purple—accentuated by tulle and ruffles. With this, he was able to create charming tiered tulle gowns and form-fitting dresses. As for his men’s line, Francis took the tuxedo game to the next level. He featured 10 textured tuxedos punctuated by oversized bows (some had feather embellishments) that makes every groom look exquisitely dapper for his special day.
Proving that Francis Libiran is a master of intricacy and unparalleled elegance, everyone was in awe of his artistry when he showcased his signature art deco embroidery upon revealing his bridal gowns. And to make a breathtaking finale, Francis’ muse of the night, Kim Chiu, emerged the runway in a stunning symmetrical gown accentuated with ornate details and crystal embellishments.
