Get The Look That Edward Barber Rocked In Germany

By

From the pages of the magazine to the big screen for #MakingMEGA, we go in depth and unveil the stories behind the fashion that Edward Barber rocked in the snow-capped locale of Heidelberg, Germany for his first ever MEGA Man cover.

By this time, you’ve most likely seen it all—the images of Edward Barber fire up your social media timelines, as well as getting to know a different side to him through the #MakingMEGA documentary. But as with any good story, there are more stories from within that need to be told. And this time around, we’re focusing on the fashion that transformed Edward Barber from a boy-next-door to a bonafide modern-day royal.

What better way to make our hero stand out from the expanse dusted with a chilling white than to deck him out in a bold color? Echoing the snow and storm challenged climate, Edward Barber navigates the cold in a range of vivid hues that is inherently classic but contemporary in cuts.

Nothing gives you that royal boost of confidence than a fitted double-breasted blazer. Equal parts gentleman and Renaissance man, trickle it with a subtle hint of quirk through an optic pattern play. Of course, you have to go all out and pair the look with boots that are every bit stylish as they are functional. If this doesn’t make you feel like a dashing prince, we don’t know what will.

Take the tailored suit to the next level by decorating it with details that add up to the whole look. A conversation starter by all means, add a little more daring to your overall style by choosing applications that are in the same color story as your base—in this case, the suit. Thoughtful details such washed-out sleeves and splashes of denim lends a sense of ease to the formal staple.

Despite the somber overcast of winter, menswear gets a little more playful with a pastiche of fabrics that come together to make a most interesting whole. Florals, micro-prints and stripes make total sense together, especially when rendered in a similar color family. Lash the dapper look with hints of youth by cuffing the jeans to a considerable height. This way, you get to show off your shoes as well.
