Far from the bulilit girl that she was, Kristel Fulgar has garnered more attention from her YouTube channel, leading to her first TV guesting in South Korea

The 14-year television run of the kiddie gag show Goin Bulilit has undoubtedly given rise to new generation personalities in the entertainment industry. It has become a training ground for many of today’s admired actors and content creators who successfully worked out significant opportunities on different career paths.

Kristel Fulgar was a third-batch graduate of the show, and she is one of the many that has begun their laudable journey through the show. In 2014, Kristel started her two YouTube channels, namely Kristel Fulgar and KrisTellsvlogs, which garnered 1.53M and 2.6M subscribers, respectively. These platforms paved the way for the actress’ career to become relevant in the international scene, specifically in Korea.

Known for her love for the Korean entertainment industry, Kristel recently shared through a vlog a behind-the-scenes video of her first guesting on a South Korean television show as it was offered by her friend and businessman Joseph Wang. She was interviewed by one of Korea’s famous announcers, Hyang Lee, and model influencers, Hyerin Kim and Yuri Kim.

During the shoot, Kristel was seen speaking Korean fluently and she even sang a Korean song. According to her, the interview will be aired after two weeks in Busan. Kristel Fulgar is currently residing in Hongdae to pursue studies in Korea’s local language at Sogang University.

She also posted a YouTube vlog with Five Stones Entertainment’s CEO Jay Han where she signed a contract with the agency to process her E6 working visa. With her established ties with the agency, Kristel might pursue more projects in South Korea as her fans are cheering for her growing popularity on that side of the world.

Kristel’s acting background was founded in Philippine TV, portraying carefree and gleeful best friend roles in several television dramas and film by ABS-CBN.
