The eyelash industry has expanded over the years. We’ve seen the likes of New Lounge and Ayumi Japan Eyelash excel in the field of eyelash extensions. The practice of eyelash extensions is widely popular and has garnered a huge following by celebrities and influencers alike. To note a few, we could name: Heart Evangelista, Jessica Yang, Sue Ramirez, and more as extensions fanatics.

On the other end of the eyelash industry, we have falsies. Those who do not wish to maintain eyelash extensions opt for a quick fix using disposable lashes. In addition to this, many have been investing in Mink falsies that cost around P800 for a pair you could use for around 5 times. Not only is this practice expensive, but it’s also very wasteful. These lashes could only last you a couple of uses because of the accumulation of adhesive, sweat, and grime. This is why we are presenting to you the sustainable alternatives to the falsies.
Falsies, Luxx Lash
Magnetic Clip-On Lashes by Luxx Lash
Luxx Lash was one of the first companies in the Philippines that launched the magnetic clip-on lashes. It was revolutionary for its time, since the Philippine market has never encountered reusable lashes before.

How to use them? Curl your natural lashes and snap the magnets of the top and bottom falsies in between them.
How many times can you reuse them? Reusable to up to 60 wears or more.

Magnetic Liner Lashes by Ardell
The #1 International lash brand, Ardell Lashes, came out with the magnetic liner and lashes earlier this year as a new product to their ever growing line of lashes. It features a black eyeliner with magnetic properties that automatically stick to falsies that contain around 4 magnets.

How to use them? Apply eyeshadow as per usual. After, add on the magnetic eyeliner on where you wish to place the lashes. Finally, carefully place the magnetic lashes on the eyeliner using an eyelash applicator.
How many times can you reuse them? Reusable to up to 30 wears or more.
Falsies, Silly George
Liner Adhesive Lashes by Stunnah Beauty’s Silly George
The newest contender in the lash game would probably have to be liner adhesives. No, it does not mean going back to the glue paste falsies. These liner adhesives come in black and transparent liners that adhere to special falsies. The liner component does not contain any magnets. Instead it makes use of a non-latex re-stickable formula. Australian brand, Stunnah Beauty’s Silly George, has recently launched here in the Philippines offering the liner adhesive lashes to the Filipino market.

How to use them? Apply eyeshadow as per usual. After, add on the adhesive eyeliner on where you wish to place the lashes. Finally, carefully place the false lashes on the eyeliner using an eyelash applicator. How many times can you reuse them? Reusable to up to 30 wears or more.
