Ivar Aseron
Evangelista was spotted around Paris in a peach banig dress embroidered with black floral accents. The Ivar Aseron creation is a perfect look for the summer season, weaving traditional Filipino techniques into a contemporary manner.
Then, at the Bluemarble show, she wore a look inspired by “Venetian Blinds.” In his previous collection, Aseron revealed that the innovative method was a practice he had honed for over a decade and has now incorporated into his looks. Evangelista wore the cover-up, and each fold mesmerized onlookers through graceful movement.
Sandro Dela Peña
Evangelista naturally supports new talent in the industry. After all, they are the future of design, ideating and developing new ideas as stylishly as they perform their hands to muster. For the Hermès show, she wore the creation of MEGA YDC 2024 Finalist Sandro Dela Peña from his debut runway collection at the event, The Walk. You can also shop for other designs from the same collection at sarisari.shopping.
She donned a ruched high-low top with sequins in crushed satin, with the upper section folded and attached to straps that glint under a light. Below, the material creates an inverted U-shape as it is pinched and piped both front and back, giving character to the garment.
The two-tone wide-leg pants with sequins in twill from the same runway collection finished the ensemble. The whole look was the ideal combination of spirited flair, exhibiting Dela Peña’s ability and vision.
Evangelista’s picks during Paris Fashion Week underlined her willingness to promote Filipino designers on an international level. Her discerning tastes and thoughtful selections demonstrate her commitment to fostering culture, talent, and heritage. In doing so, Heart Evangelista ensures that the world understands how much Filipino talent has to offer.
