Dolly de Leon wore the creations of Filipino designers to the Hollywood premiere of A Very Good Girl
From the gold and iridescent accessories to the creamy white drapery, the actress chose to highlight Filipino designers at the A Very Good Girl Hollywood premiere. Stars from all over the world dressed to impress last October 4, yet with so many looks to contend with, the BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee managed to stand out with her red carpet look.

Dolly graced the red carpet in an asymmetrical backless dress made by none other than Jude Macasinag, one of the creative minds who’s putting Philippine fashion at the forefront. For Dolly’s look in particular, the Paris-based designer made good use of the creamy white drapery and subtle ruched detailings to evoke Roman elegance. And if you look closer, you can spot the rose motif spread across the fabric.
Notably, Dolly shared the red carpet with other Filipino household names, such as internet celebrity Bretman Rock and A Very Good Girl co-star Kathryn Bernardo, the latter of whom came dressed in a Mark Bumgarner creation.

Further enhancing sartorial elegance is the Ariel Minaudière from Rafe New York. Rafè Totengco’s minaudière looks like it was pulled straight from a Renaissance-era Botticelli painting with its pearl-like casing. Inlaid with gold, the mother-of-pearl handbag perfectly matches Dolly’s statement pearl earrings, making her out to be like Venus who rose from the sea.
Putting her red carpet ensemble together, of course, is stylist Steven Coralde of Qurator Studio, with assistance from Nikko Panti. Steven and Dolly make an awe-inspiring duo as the stylist flawlessly captures the actress’ personage and enhances her natural beauty with standout pieces.
