Here’s What to Expect From H&M x MOSCHINO’s Upcoming Collection

Following his nineties nostalgia collaboration with MAC Cosmetics two months ago, Italian fashion house MOSCHINO’s creative director Jeremy Scott just announced his limited edition collection with high street giant H&M (on an Instagram live video call with model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid nonetheless!) at Coachella this weekend.

“I am so excited about MOSCHINO [tv] H&M. My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do,” says Jeremy Scott, Creative Director of MOSCHINO. He’s on his fourth year at the fashion house, proving wrong all the fashion critics who labeled him as a designer who thrives only on pop culture and commercial work. Ironically, it’s the same critically acclaimed “commercial” success that led him to revive MOSCHINO. Today, we round up the best looks from his past collections that we can expect for the house’s upcoming collaboration with H&M.

1. TONGUE-IN-CHEEK ACCESSORIES

Remember, this is the man that brought us the McDonald’s-inspired handbags, Barbie mirror phone cases, hanger headbands, and a garbage bin hat that came with a tiny bag. With H&M, we’re excited to see quirky accessories that will tickle your inner child.

2. POP CULTURE EXTRAVAGANZA

Jeremy Scott continues his love affair with pop culture icons in each of his collections. Among the most memorable moments revolved around Barbie, The Looney Tunes, Spongebob, McDonald’s and My Little Pony!

3. THE GOOD TYPE OF CRAZY

Who else can dish out a maximalist explosion of looks without batting a lash? Only Jeremy can send models down the runway in a candelabra dress, paper doll cutout number, and a trench coat emblazoned with packing tape and a box fascinator to complete the look.

“MOSCHINO [tv] H&M is the perfect collaboration for fashion right now, mixing together pop, street culture, logos and also glamour. Jeremy Scott is amazing – he knows how to have fun with fashion, and to connect with his fans around the world.” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor, H&M.

The collection will be available in selected H&M stores starting November 8.
