Chiffon Blouses and Pencil Skirts
The perfect boss needs a perfect secretary—Park Min Young as Secretary Kim is always so put together with her classy chiffon blouse and pencil skirt combination. Kim Chiu dons this exact ensemble with the classic Secretary Kim high ponytail—and she looks spectacular. Secretary Kim doesn’t veer away too much from the safe side when it comes to her workwear, but the different variations she creates with the blouses such as ruffles, flared or bishop sleeves, smocking, and pintuck all give her a sophisticated and unique look standing next to the Vice Chairman. We can’t wait to see Kim in more.
Figure Flattering Dresses
For formal or corporate events, Secretary Kim showcases her feminine side with dresses that hug her figure. In the teaser, we see Kim in a strapless pink one-piece dress—a little different from Park Min Young’s bright orange ruffled off-the-shoulder fit, but both women carry their respective pieces so well and embody Secretary Kim’s classy look and style.
Pastels
Park Min Young also wears mostly soft and bright hues for a clean, young, and refreshing look. All of these complement her skin tone well and give her a feminine appeal, and we see the same palette given to Kim’s wardrobe.
Minimal but Striking Jewelry
Kim’s multiple piercings and earrings add a modern touch to her looks in the series
In the Korean adaptation, Secretary Kim mainly wears earrings and switches it up almost every day with threaders, studs, rhinestone flowers, and dangling pieces—but they always remain minimal. These are accessories often overlooked, so it’s refreshing to see Kim Chiu’s piercings studded with multiple earrings as they elevate her portrayal of Secretary Kim.
