Jillian Ward is living her dream. After years of pursuing and working on her craft, she is now playing the lead role of Analyn in the teleserye Abot-Kamay na Pangarap. From her very first role as Daldanika in The Last Prince, Jillian has been sparkling on the screen. Her contagious enthusiasm has inspired the youth, and she is committed to carry on this torch. “I wish for my fans to live their lives to the fullest,” she says earnestly. “I want them [to inspire and bring] more love and good energy to the world.”
During breaks in the taping of the teleserye, Jillian is like any other Gen Z. She whips out her smartphone, takes selfies with her cast members, and shares the photos with her followers. On most days, the young star follows a tight schedule, which means long, exhausting days on set. But she thrives on the challenge, diving deep into her roles and bringing a powerful emotional resonance to each scene. “I do my job because I’m genuinely passionate about it,” she says. “I do it without feeling the need to be validated nor gain anything superficial from it. Superficial things don’t last forever—what endures, and truly matters, is the love, knowledge, and experiences you attain throughout your life.”
While Jillian’s work ethic is second to none, she also knows the importance of balance. “If we finish shooting early, I’ll play badminton with my brother and my friends afterwards,” she smiles. “I also make sure to spend time with my family whenever I’m home [or off work].”

Instead of going down the love team path like her Prima Donnas co-stars, Jillian went on to main character roles, working alongside veteran actors like Ian Veneracion, Pauleen Luna, Richard Yap, and Carmina Villaroel. “I started out as a child actress, and I’m used to character roles… I have never really had a steady love team,” she explains.
“Each of the previous roles I’ve played has made an impact on me. But I’m most fond of my latest project, Abot-Kamay na Pangarap,” Jillian says. Her latest series is a testament to her incredible range and talent. Directed by L.A. Madridejos, Abot-Kamay na Pangarap tells the story of an illiterate mother named Lynette and her gifted daughter Analyn who becomes the youngest neurosurgeon in the country. With Jillian at the helm, it promises to be a tour de force of emotional depth.
