Ina Raymundo, Max Collins, and Sunshine Cruz “mothered” at the Bench Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024 show
Contrary to misconceptions and stereotypes, taking care of the self and fulfilling one’s needs is a core part of motherhood. While others see the role as a halt to one’s dreams and opportunities, it actually serves as a drive for women to succeed further now that they are sharing their lives with their offspring. And indeed, three female figures proved this fact at last night’s Bench Fashion Week with their sizzling appearances on the runway.

A fitspiration for her children
First on the list? Ina Raymundo. The Can’t Buy Me Love actress sported a one-shoulder piece with ruffled embellishments adorning the cutout of her one piece. “This is not something a 48-year-old mom of five usually does—to walk down the runway among a slew of stars. It was empowering,” she wrote on Instagram.
A mother and daughter experience
Next on the list is Raymundo’s fellow Gen X, Sunshine Cruz. The actress-singer, at 46 years old as a mother of three young women, served as an empowering role model to her own children to carry their bodies with confidence. Clad in a two-piece swimwear with a sheer cover-up, Sunshine marveled the audience with her toned physique. Adding to this momentous occasion, her daughter Angelina also walked the runway!
A wonder mother
For millennial mom Max Collins, the beach attire is a staple for her getaways with friends and her son, Pancho. But this time, she donned a pale green one piece with a deep v-neckline at the show for Bench Fashion Week. From her parasol to her neck garland, she’s readier than ever to head to the beach anytime soon.
More than their bodies, it’s their catwalk confidence and fighting spirit that deserve to be celebrated and highlighted as celebrities and as women. And if there’s anything that Max, Sunshine, and Ina reiterated, it’s that motherhood is limitless, fierce, and sexy not just for the summer, but definitely all year round!
