Instagram Is Finally Making A Move Against Fake Followers And Likes

By

What a day to rejoice! Fake followers and likes are finally about to exposed on Instagram.

While you may be following people who have a suspicious amount of followers versus engagement, your theory is about to be confirmed with Instagram’s newest vow. In the following weeks, we’re finally knowing who’s buying fake followers and likes, exposing people the most embarrassing way possible.

Aiming to reduce inauthentic activity, Instagram has already begun taking down fake accounts. “Recently, we’ve seen accounts use third-party apps to artificially grow their audience,” the company shares through a new post. “Every day people come to Instagram to have real experiences, including genuine interactions. It is our responsibility to ensure these experiences aren’t disrupted by inauthentic activity.” New posts will not be showing paid likes but old posts will be affected differently. Embarrassing as it sounds, old posts will keep “purchased” likes and comments that may later be compared to engagements on new posts.
