The Bling Empire star pays a visit to the Philippines where a get-together was waiting for her
Whether you’re a millennial or one of the older Gen Zs, then reality TV shows shouldn’t be a new entity for you. It started with Paris Hilton’s iconic show titled The Simple Life before everyone tried to keep up with Keeping Up With The Kardashians—both displaying such luxurious lifestyles. And while most were introduced with a Western type of groove, an Asian twist was definitely needed, which is where Bling Empire comes in. And just this year, a spin-off set in the East Coast, Bling Empire: New York, premiered, which features one of the earliest fashion bloggers before the era of influencers—Tina Leung.
The bling empress
Tina Leung, one of the constant faces of the latest series, has made her way from New York to Manila for a fun and fancy get-together hosted by Belo with fellow personalities such as Tim Yap, Rhian Ramos, Cristalle Belo, Dr. Hayden Kho, and of course, Dr. Vicki Belo herself.
Before we get into her late night ensemble, a rundown of the Bling Empire: New York star is a must. From having a background that includes an education at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, being a fashion assistant at Prestige Hong Kong, and becoming a blogger in 2011—she definitely made her presence known in the world of fashion.
Seeing that she already had quite the experience in the industry, it only makes sense that she honed a style that is truly unmatchable. When it comes to fashion, she can easily go from the classics through sleek coats, youthful black ensembles, and cinched-in waist combos to vibrant modern looks with adventurous picks that play with proportion, cutouts, and prints.
Late night fête
Surrounded by newfound friends, the dinner was actually a surprise party for Tina, seeing that the beautiful actress’ 41st birthday was just last March 27. And alongside the birthday celebration, she was also happily welcomed to the Belo family.
The fashion enthusiast was seen donning a full on sparkling ensemble from head to toe, which consisted of a Michael Kors rhinestone-embellished cocktail dress that had the right amount of plunge on the neckline, as well as her Self-Portrait bag that matched the sparkles on her outfit. And a little insider information we got? She actually already wore the dress at a premiere she attended, but felt that it was also fitting for last night’s festivities. Never one to back down from reusing a stunning look, Tina shared that there’s no shame in the repeat game.
