In an Instagram post for her 40th birthday, actress Iza Calzado announced the most special role she is playing to date—being a mother!
“They were right. Life does begin at 40. Simply put, your life begins as your mother turns forty. To know that life is growing inside me is great miracle. You are my miracle. You are my guiding light.”

Several celebrities including actress and model Bianca King, who married Ben’s (Iza’s husband) brother, sent their well wishes to Iza.
Iza and Ben are currently spending some couple quality time in Spain.
We will soon see Iza take on another mother role in the upcoming Darna series as Leonor, the first Darna and the next Darna’s trainer.
