The weekend is a time of rest. Juju Glow sets up a contract signing and press conference event in a hotel with Jane on a fun Saturday for healthy skin conversations to reinforce the idea of taking a break.
In a refreshing summer theme, a touch of green paints the room in the design of the claw machine, beach backdrop, and guests’ attire.
As the invitees poured in at around early noon, they enjoyed an hour of lunch to prepare themselves for the activities. To brighten the day, the host came in to ask around the audience on a short quiz about the brand’s products, such as asking what comes to mind when hearing “collagen.” Many said skin, but aside from that, it’s the most common skin protein found in the body and is crucial to the strength of the bone structures. Eventually, Jane de Leon graciously entered the room with a fresh, plump, dewy face that made her look bright like a star. In an ethereal white maxi dress with a hint of black accent and paired with a white ribbon for her hair, she was summer-ready. She brilliantly smiled and conveyed her excitement to the guests.
From being Darna to becoming the fresh face of Freshies, she told everyone that “Before I became an ambassador for this product, out of my curiosity na rin, na-curious ako. So after that, nag-order ako and tinry ko siya and nagustuhan ko, because it’s my favorite. It’s avocado [flavored].”
For the actress, it’s all about trying new things and finding out what works for her body and skin. It just so happened that the brand she’s tried is also looking for that superhero who can bring the spirit of wellness and beauty to a bigger platform. Not just me, but pagdating talaga sa show business na nakaka-drain, lalo na we need to take care of our bodies, especially ‘yung skin namin kasi ‘yun ‘yung puhunan namin.”
