If marriage is a chapter in a relationship, then weddings are worth the bookmark for its celebration of love and commitment. With that, here’s how the Howhows reflected their love story in their dream wedding’s details.
Set by the waves
Throughout their relationship, Jessy and Luis made the seas a witness of how their partnership progressed. From their beach dates to their engagement, honeymoon, and finally their dream wedding, they were all set by the waters. International floral and events designer Gideon Hermosa interpreted the waves through his styling of Club Paradise Palawan’s seaside. He also added roses to adorn the setup, a symbol of the couple’s greatest blessing—their daughter Rosie.
“But within the heart of this festive banquet, we designed arches that are built with strength and luminosity that shelter and shine throughout the night, one that is apparent in our bride and groom’s love story. Theirs is a love that is steadfast and pure that brings so much joy,” Hermosa wrote in his caption.
Surrounded by their people
At the end of the day, a marriage is between two people. But in the making of the relationship, there are people who help in building the partnership towards their endgame. For Mendiola and Manzano, it’s their family and friends. This time around, their loved ones were finally present to bless their marriage.
A relived engagement
In a previous vlog, Jessy and Luis shared what happened during their engagement. It was not their expected, popping the question moment. Making things right this time around, the groom surprised his bride with another proposal during their wedding shoot. The vlogger-actress met the comical side of Luis halfway by initially saying no, then later taking it back. This was a throwback to their old video when Jessy also joked and said no to Luis.
Dressed to the nines in seven ways
Part of a dream wedding is the bride’s dresses for the whole occasion, and Mrs. Manzano reflected her evolution as a woman through her seven dresses. Her feminine style echoed through her choice of lace for her church and beach weddings, courtesy of designs by Patricia Santos.
Meanwhile, Jessy wore a Neric Beltran fringed skirt and Debbie Co bikini top during their prenuptial shoot. For their family portrait, she wore a flowy tube dress by Debbie Co as well.
To welcome their beloved guests, the bride also donned a silk dress creation by Martin Bautista. Before the actual ceremonies, Jessy and Rosy had a mother and daughter twinning moment with their Eve the Label robes. And finally, for the reception, the bride switched to a figure-hugging dress by Boom Sason. Indeed, weddings also mark the celebration of love for fashion, too.
