We’re finally seeing KC’s natural charm in front of the camera once again as she embarks on her newest role as Avery on Asian Persuasion
There is always something endearing about KC Concepcion. Whether it’s how she shares her adventures or the way she talks about her family, her captivating aura always leaves people wanting more. Luckily for us, she is giving us a treat as Avery on her newest project, Asian Persuasion.
Setting their promotions in motion for the said movie, the actress, along with director Jhett Tolentino, joined the members of the press for a special conference on the movie. The film will premiere in Philippine cinemas on November 21 while also participating in Richmond International Film Festival and SoHo International Film Festival.
In the film, KC takes on the role of Avery—a woman who opens up her heart again to a man related to her ex-husband. Just like the actress, her character takes ambition seriously in the fields of fashion and business. Adding another dimension to Avery is motherhood with her daughter, Sam, in the picture.
After a long hiatus, this is Concepcion’s return to acting after her big screen participation in 2013 for Boy Golden: Shoot to Kill, the Arturo Porcuna Story.
The trailer also gives the audience a sneak peek on the two men who captivates Avery in different moments of her life. Dante Basco plays Mickey de Los Santos, who is Avery’s college sweetheart, ex-husband, and Sam’s father. Through him, Paolo Montalban’s Lee comes into the picture. He is a financial executive who eventually finds Avery endearing without the push of Mickey.
Written by Mike Ang, Asian Persuasion is an independent film supported by Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
