Krishnah Gravidez Joins Miss World Philippines After Withdrawing From Miss Charm


From one crown to another, Krishnah Gravidez keeps the fight going for beauty with a cause. A day after announcing her withdrawal from the Miss Charm competition, the titleholder officially declared her participation in Miss World Philippines 2024. Representing her hometown Baguio City, the 23-year-old surprised pageant fans and her supporters alike.

Charming Her Way to the World

Last June 2, the Miss Charm Philippines 2024 titleholder announced her withdrawal from the competition. “I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible opportunities that Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Charm Philippines have afforded me. It has been an honor to be part of such prestigious competitions, and I am truly grateful for the experiences and friendships I have gained along the way. I will always cherish the memories and lessons learned during my time of reign,” she wrote on her Instagram post.

In the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 competition, Gravidez finished in the final five before earning her own crown as Miss Charm Philippines 2024. She also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award that night. 

From the Philippines to the World

Krishnah’s fellow candidate in the said edition, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, expressed her support for Gravidez. Dee also represented the country in 2019, finishing in the Top 12. 

As of writing, the Philippines has only won the Miss World crown once. Actress and host Megan Young triumphed and won the title in 2013.

Meanwhile, 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray joined the 2016 edition of the competition as well. Earning a spot in the Top 5 finalists, Catriona also won the Multimedia Award, earned second place in the Talent Award, and finished Top 5 in the Beauty with a Purpose project. 

In the recent Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night, Krishnah crowned Cyrille Payumo of Pampanga as the Miss Charm Philippines 2025.
