Julia Barretto has been known for her teeny bopper roles in Vince, Cath, and James, Love You To The Stars And Back, Mirabella, and more. In most of her previous work, she was paired with heartthrob, Joshua Garcia, where they formed the love team, Joshlia. Their success in the film industry has even garnered Julia the title of Drama Princess. Now, the young actress is at the transformative age of 25. She’s in a new relationship, she’s making waves on the internet, and is taking on acting roles that challenge her girl next door image.
For Julia’s newest project, she’s playing a prostitute in Jason Paul Laxamana’s film, Expensive Candy. Julia is playing the titular role of Candy starring alongside Carlo Aquino. In the trailer alone, we can see that Julia will be revealing a different side to her acting prowess. She’s seen working the pole in a strip club wearing lingerie and a wig.
While waiting for the actual movie to come out, we’re left with the 2 minute and 55 second trailer and a few photos from Julia’s shoot with photographer, Andrea Beldua.
Julia poses in four lingerie looks showing off her killer body. The first being a cheetah print one piece paired with linear stockings and a mesh cover up. The second is a high slit little black dress with three buckles holding up the dress. The third is a black one piece suit with a low back and linear stockings. Lastly, Julia wore a mesh one piece suit with leather thigh high boots.
Carlo Aquino also participated in the photoshoot matching his co-star in all black looks. The two gave us a steamy set of photos that shows the undeniable chemistry of the two for their upcoming film.
