The newest iteration of the Louis Vuitton Archlight invites individuals of all ages and identities to sport the sneaker revolution
Sneaker culture continues to thrive because the footwear unifies two definitions of fashion—a way of doing things and the capture of style. While comfort and adaptability are at the forefront of the footwear criterion, trend plays a role in choosing the best sneaker, too. Louis Vuitton thankfully takes this into consideration and marries all three with the Archlight 2.0.

The new design and shape pay homage to its classic scaffold while riding on the waves of chunky, dad-attributed sneakers. Aside from its trademark oversized tongue, a more defined cut for the curved sole is evident, courtesy of the new rubber platform.
Five years after its first release, the Archlight 2.0 incorporates the silhouettes of moccasins, as well as high and desert boots for this new collection. Singer-actor Jaden Smith dons the leather-laden piece with the moccasin silhouette.
The Maison also adds a touch of variety in the designs with the use of different fabrics for each theme, with the guipure lace integration for a delicate touch on the platform’s distinct definition. The raffia repetition will appeal to those who are leaning towards the traditional, rural vibe. Actress Chloë Grace Moretz dons this iteration as one of the three contemporary talents who live by what the Archlight 2.0 stands for.
Finally, for the younger audience, athlete Sam Li sports the pieces’ traditional Monogram. Along with this, other colorways of the sneakers offer subtle pops of color that will surely cater to this generation’s revival and remixing of Y2K elements.
