Wedding bells just keep ringing! Proving that they don’t need big crowds to proclaim their lasting love, these celebs pushed through and keep it lowkey for their pandemic weddings.
Besides, with guidelines requiring guests are socially distanced and only a handful are invited, their beautiful ceremonies are a strong testament that we don’t always need grand celebrations.
Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola
The latest entry is the beautiful ceremony of Mr. and Mrs. Manzano held at The Farm in San Benito in Batangas. With their close family and friends in tow, Luis and Jessy were wed in a gathering that was as intimate as it was lavish!
Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez
As the pandemic started to worsen by March of 2020, Sarah and Richard decided to hold an intimate civil wedding instead of the big event originally planned. Meanwhile, their lovely little wedding was held in Taguig and joined only by their closest relatives.
Sarah said it best through Instagram: “i have you / and it’s enough / it’s everything.” We guess they kind of started the trend!
Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada
These young lovebirds took a stride in the safest route! They decided to get married in Alex’s family home in Taytay, Rizal – provided it was decorated beautifully. Honestly, You couldn’t even tell.
For instance, their backyard garden was turned into a brightly lit reception hall for their close guests. Check out Alex’s vlog about their intimate wedding here.
KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde
This musical couple dedicated to “live in the now” and tie the knot in October of 2020. The longtime couple had an intimate garden wedding also held at The Farm at San Benito with close friends and family.
Our favorite part? Their matching sharp and dapper suits!
Bettina Carlos and Mikki Eduardo
Dubbing herself as a true “COVID bride”, actress Bettina got married to her non-showbiz beau in a beautiful outdoor wedding held at the Tagaytay Highlands in December 2020.
The couple also got married twice on the same day for undisclosed reasons. It adds to the mystique, TBH!
