Looks like wedding bells finally rang for Marc Jacobs this weekend.
It was exactly April 2018 when Marc Jacobs popped the questions to Charly “Char” de Francesco. And after a year of waiting, the 55-year-old designer and 35-year-old high-end candlemaker finally said “I do” in a star-studded wedding ceremony in New York City.
Their special day was filled with celebrities and notable personalities in the fashion world to fête the newlyweds. Supermodels such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Kaia Gerber, and sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid were present. Other notable people were Anna Wintour, Rita Ora, Frank Ocean, and many more.
For their wedding day, the duo veered away from the classic black tuxedos. Instead, they opted to look dapper in green ensembles made by their friend, Ralph Fitzgerald. As for their footwear, Char wore a bespoke sneaker by Christian Louboutin, while Marc wore his custom Gucci boots by Alessandro Michele.
Marc also shared to his personal Instagram his new jewelry for his wedding. “God is in the details. One of the pair of Art Deco Diamond and Onyx Penguins,” he captioned in the photo. “Penguins have only one partner and mate for life. A great example of faithfulness and fidelity. So grateful to you and love you so much dear Fabio.”
