In a MEGA exclusive, celebrity makeup artist Juan Sarte revealed all the beauty details behind the actress’ coveted radiant look

Case in point: Marian Rivera and her take on an ethereal goddess-inspired look.

“Marian works fast and knows what she wants,” Juan Sarte exclusively revealed to MEGA. “As for makeup, it also stays in place on her, so minimal touch-ups are needed. Every look somehow appeals to be low maintenance!” In that context, the celebrity makeup artist unveiled all the beauty details behind her look and even the lip products he used on the star.
The beauty breakdown
Marian Rivera’s low-maintenance and natural approach to beauty has always been admirable. Think more of her signature youthful and radiant glow—one key factor her trusted makeup artist wants to highlight at the event. “We wanted her glam to be ethereal and goddess-like,” Juan Sarte explained. His best-kept secret for achieving her look? The halo makeup technique. “I used different light-reflecting products on her skin and eyes, plus gloss on her lips, from Kiko Milano.”
Halo makeup often refers to the technique that calls for applying darker shades on the corners of the lid, and then packing a shimmery shade in the center, but that version is something that is left in the past. The new method is now all about the glowy and lit-from-within look—the perfect choice for the star. Juan Sarte made a smart play on shimmering neutral brown tones on the lids and glossy rosey-brown lips for a look that is angelic yet red-carpet-friendly.
The lip combination
It’s no secret that one of the most sought-after beauty details, in any event, are lip products. As for the actress’ event-approved pick? She wore two entries from Kiko Milano. “I began detailing and filling her lips with the use of Kiko Milano Creamy Colour Comfort Lipliner in 01 Natural Rose,” Juan Sarte explained. “To complete the look, I added on Kiko Milano Unlimited Double Touch of the same shade.”
