Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings Star in Their First Official Music Video Together

By

This may be their first official music video together, but it’s not the first time Maris Racal and Anthony Jenning tried their acting chops for a song.

The best things in life can come in surprises, and the breakthrough pairing of Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings is one of them. Their unexpected chemistry as Snoop and Irene in Can’t Buy Me Love is winning the hearts of many for their natural banter and “opposites attract” energy. But if you’re wondering how they’ll be like once they get all full on romantic, look no further. Darren Espanto’s newest music video is the answer to our alternate universe inquiry.

Espanto recently released his single “Iyo,” and even did a Chinese rendition for the said series. Deepening the connection of the track to Can’t Buy Me Love, the music video also featured Maris and Anthony, but this time in sweeter moments. The MV even looked like a prenuptial shoot, with the actors donning color coordinated outfits in their first layout.

In their second outfit, they even wore wedding looks. Some fans of SnoopRene, their ship name for their characters Snoop and Irene, even mentioned that this was an alternate universe of the two.

Is this Snoop and Irene in another universe?

Although this is their first official music video together, they already did a parody of sorts for Hambog ng Sagpro Krew’s “Classmate.” Their short clip also featured the crew of the series acting with them.

Right now, we could only hope the best for their story in the show, and have our fingers crossed for their next project!
