The House of Ding reigned at the MEGA Drag Pride Party 2024. But who exactly are the winners of the first MEGA Drag Luxe Battle Royale title?
MEGA Drag’s first Pride Party was all colorful notes and lavish runway looks. The main event of that night—an iconic and groundbreaking lip sync competition called the MEGA Drag Luxe Battle Royale—also took place. Six Filipino drag queens from the Philippines and Singapore went head to head—all fighting for the ascent to the MEGA Drag Queen throne. After a night of serving mesmerizing, excellent, glamorous, and all-out performances, a new bright House reigns above all—the House of Ding.

The Bright House of Stars
Who snatched the crown? The shining stars and children of drag queen Brigiding, of course. Part of the stellar cast of Drag Race Philippines’ first season, Brigiding’s latest venture into drag motherhood (House of Ding) has bore its fruit. Coming from Metro Manila’s vibrant nightlife, Felicia and Bomba Ding impressed the judges and sashayed away with the first MEGA Drag Queen title.
Lip syncing for their life, they began their performance with Little Mix’s “Wings” and “Power.” Even their solo performances were also a nod to the chemistry and sisterhood of the House of Ding, able to feed off each other’s energies and spirits that earned the judges’ stamp of approval. The impressive death drops definitely added to the points.
After their respective stages—Bomba with The Greatest Showman’s “This is Me” and Felicia with the final lip sync of “It’s Raining Men”—the queens were hailed as the champions of the Luxe Battle Royale.
In an exclusive with MEGA Drag, Bomba and Felicia Ding give us their take on what makes their house more than just a performance base but a true blue family.
Felicia Ding
Not unfamiliar with the heavy weight of the crown, Felicia Ding has taken her place in queendom of Filipino Drag Royalty with her triumph as the winner of Drag Cartel All Stars 5. Heavily influenced by her love for Broadway, the drag queen fuels dramatic performances. But how did she cross paths with her House Mother? She was once the assistant to the Divine Divas. Now shining in her own craft with her stage presence, refined aesthetic, and flawless mug, she is now a bona fide drag celebrity with two crowns to show for it.
“Ang naging exceptional sa House of Ding is we’re not just a drag house. We’re a chosen family,” Felicia opens up on the House of Ding. “Kaya strong ‘yung performances namin on stage because we share the same experiences in life. We conquer the same obstacles.”
Bomba Ding
Stripping herself—quite literally—off from the worries of whatever people have to say, she gave a powerful performance during the second round of the Luxe Battle Royale. “Bomba Ding is an explosive performer with an explosive body. She uses her body as a craft, and she wants to pay homage to body positivity,” the drag queen expresses, describing herself. Maintaining a fit physique is not new to Bomba Ding with her experience as a professional dancer.
Delving more into House of Ding and their camaraderie, Bomba Ding shares, “Even outside drag, we are also a family. We eat together, watch movies together, and we solve problems together. Mama Brigiding really not just hones our drag, but she also helps us hone our characters well. Our core itself is family.”
