Her taste? Quirky, playful, and bold—looks that gravitate towards who Anne is.
Anne Curtis is no stranger to the world of mythology. Having played the role of a tripartite goddess of the sky, land, and sea, it is no surprise that the Louis Vuitton Cruise 23 Collection is one that reminded her of a role that she used to play.
She chose looks that gave off a sense of duality—an ensemble of statement and edge that is incomplete without a side of softness.
“My eyes were hooked the moment I laid my eyes on these cropped, structured cover ups. These were the showstoppers for me. Oversized without the heavy feel because of the sparkly, metallic finish,” Anne points out.
She adds, “The draping situation gives softness to the look.”
Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière reveres the sun in this collection—honoring the solar power and how we bask it in as represented by the scintillating metals and bold colors, or hide from it as portrayed through draperies, layers, and protective covers.
As a star who has mastered staying and veering away from the limelight when situations call for it, Anne appreciates this collection for the mix of material and metal.
Ever true to who she is, she has her eyes set on a look that she herself could rock.
“That quirky touch is courtesy of the belt. Plus, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on those sneakers. It can definitely match a lot of looks.”
The newest Cruise Collection is a testament that the sun is vital in the fashion of science, and in the science of fashion.
Are Anne’s picks yours, too?
