A nice timepiece is a charming way to get noticed. Checking the time during the jam-packed holidays never looked this good

Watches are timeless items. While they mostly come at a steep price tag, the longevity and appeal they offer effectively justify the high prices they command in the market. From a fashion standpoint, along with accessories, a watch gives an added charm to any outfit.

In line with this, the holiday season only happens once a year. Take this as the sign you need to spend a little more than you would, especially for a new timepiece. If you’re looking for a watch to treat yourself or your loved ones to, check this list out.

Panerai Luminor due Tutto Oro, Bvlgari Octo Finissimo and TAG Heuer Formula 1 Watch images

Bvlgari Octo Finissimo

You could never go wrong with a brown and gold combo, something Bvlgari’s Octo Finissimo offers. Ditching the usual full metallic combo for watches, this is another basic silhouette that can give a premium and sophisticated feel when paired with the right outfits.

Panerai Luminor due Tutto Oro PAM01182

With the brand’s Goldtech alloy, a sophisticated look is established easily with the gold body. The watch itself, on the other hand, features a blue sun-brushed face plus gold dials. On top of all this is the fact that the watch can glow in the dark if needed, making it a solid option for holiday affairs at night.

TAG Heuer Formula 1 CAZ1010.FT8024

Being Formula 1’s official timekeeper, it was inevitable that a watch was born from the partnership, and the CAZ1010.FT8024 is one of those. Its steel case is fitted with a scratch-proof sapphire crystal to go along with a crystal strap. As for the watch itself, three chronographs on top of the clock are present. These are to track permanent seconds, hours, minutes, and 1/10ths of a second.

Tissot Ballade Powermatic 80 Gent, Rolex DayDate 40 and Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321 Chronograph 38.6 MM Watch images

Rolex Day-Date 40

This list wouldn’t be complete without at least one icon. Aside from fulfilling the fundamental options of the watch, the brand name and silhouette can be easily recognizable by watch enthusiasts. The first of its kind to actually feature a full-day name, the Rolex Day-Date should be a no-brainer.

Tissot Ballade Powermatic 80 Gent

Tissot’s offering packs an 80-hour power reserve, which is two times more when compared to other watches. The watch relies on an in-house ETA movement–a watch movement system patronized by other renowned watchmakers. While a fairly fundamental design, the Ballade Powermatic 80 gives a premium feel that complements all outfits and gives them added appeal.

Omega Speedmaster Calibre 321 Chronograph 38.6 MM

This Speedmaster watch from Omega takes cues from the original 1957 model. This current iteration is made with the maker’s Canopus Gold alloy and features a deep black onyx dial that features the vintage Omega logo. Another key feature is its three subdials, which feature a small seconds display to go along with a 30-minute and 12-hour recorder.

Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze, IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition [Lake Tahoe], Casio G-Shock MR-G and TW Steel CEO Tech 4036 watch images

Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze

This watch from Tudor is offered as a boutique-only piece. As a diver’s watch, it is made with bronze as its material, which is common for watches of this type. Overall, with their dedication to the model, you get a timepiece with a quality finish that’s good for all types of situations when worn.

IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition [Lake Tahoe]

IWC’s watch is a result of their sponsorship for Top Gun: Maverick. One of the watches born from this collaboration is this special edition Pilot’s Watch Chronograph. Carrying a muted white color, the watch was inspired by white naval uniforms plus the winter landscape around the eponymous lake—a go-to training ground for naval aviators.

Casio G-Shock MR-G

One could never really go wrong with a Casio G-Shock. This time, though, it’s the more high-end leaning variant. Despite it being the luxury version, it still retains the signature heavy-duty of other G-Shock watches while combining it with intricate design philosophy.

TW Steel CEO Tech 4036

The last timepiece to consider is TW Steel’s CEO Tech 4036. On the surface level, it features a rose gold PVD-coated case and bezel with eight total screws. To round up its premium look is a blue Italian leather crocodile strap. A Swiss chronograph movement powers this watch, coupled with a battery that can last nearly five years.
