After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s public appearances last year, it’s quite clear that Markle has set her own standards, proving that she isn’t your average royal. For instance, the former Suits actress freely held hands with the prince on a date night (which happens to be against a royal rule, BTW) and even chose to be in her true laid-back self, wearing button-downs and jeans. Now, she stepped out at their second official royal engagement sporting the hairstyle we’d usually wear at the gym or whenever we feel lazy.
Departing from her usual wavy brunette locks, which are simply tucked in with one ear, Markle showed up in a low messy bun, with a few strands framing her seemingly no-makeup face — it wasn’t anything that was posh. It was real.
Although we’ve expressed our love for Kate Middleton’s sophisticated chignons in the past, we can’t help but adore Markle’s laid-back beauty moments too. Besides, when the hairstyle is paired with that $795 Smyth camel coat, the overall look is effortlessly chic.
