Meanwhile, the beauty moments exhibited at the coveted event were also a pedestal of their own. But what makes any makeup format memorable is the right swipe of a 2023 Met Gala-approved lip product.

It began with Anne Hathaway, who captured the world’s attention with a timeless nude lip look. Of course, Rihanna can’t be left unmentioned as her lips demanded attention with a vibrant red hue. Ahead, we listed down all the eye-catching lip products seen at this year’s Met Gala.

Beauty fans know that a slash of a statement red lipstick is the star’s age-old beauty signature. “In pure bliss! Rihanna graced the steps tonight with elegance and a glamorous yet edgy take on modern beauty,” Fenty Beauty wrote in a post. As luck would have it, the brand revealed all the products celebrity makeup artist Priscilla Ono used on the artist. As for the lips? Ono reached for the line’s Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored.

Florence Pugh’s newly shaved head and statement feathered headpiece demanded attention at the gala. However, her makeup format equally deserves attention. “Finishing off Florence Pugh’s Met Gala makeup this evening with Valentino Beauty’s newest Liquirosso lip color—here in shade 115R,” Alex Babsky captioned. The celebrity makeup artist also named products like the Twin Liner in Black and Nero, Color Flip Eyeshadow Palette, and Magnificent Mascara as his trusted products to achieve the actress’ smoky eye look.

“For makeup, I drew inspiration from Karl’s legendary 90s runways, but reinterpreted elements for Anne’s custom look,” Gucci Westman explained as she unveiled the beauty products used to achieve the actresses’ look. Her list includes products like Westman Atelier’s Complexion Drops, Vital Skin Foundation, Face Trace Contour in Biscuit, and Super Loaded in the shade Peau de Pêche. Meanwhile, the celebrity makeup artist named the line’s Les Nudes Palette and Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm in Nou Nou as the formula behind the actress’ coveted nude lip look.

Kate Moss undeniably captured the essence of a 90s supermodel look for the gala. Of course, behind her glam are the talented team from Charlotte Tilbury. “With glam by my INCREDIBLE #TilburyProTeam, Kate wore my Matte Revolution Supermodel Lipstick + Hollywood Duo Liner to reflect the sophisticated glamour of the era!” the celebrity makeup artist shared. She also revealed, “I adore her soft, feminine glam using my Supernudes Eyeshadow Palette!”

Lily Collins effortlessly captured the crowd’s attention once again with her elegant and timeless glam. “Lily, thank you for always trusting me and for your uncanny ability to sit perfectly still while I paint a red lip—a remarkable trait,” Fiona Stiles captioned. She named Lancome’s L’Absolu Drama Matte in the shade 196 French Touch and 82 Rouge Pigalle as the secret behind the star’s statement lip look.
