“Since this year’s MEGA Ball was going to be my first, I was a tad nervous,” says Toni Sia. This was echoed by Ry Velasco, but she added that she was also equally thrilled to be part of the festivities. The ladies collaborated with fellow Filipino creatives to come up with striking looks that could easily catch anyone’s attention. From skin preparation to makeup, Michelle, Toni, and Ry’s looks were taken care of by their go-to beauty source: LazBeauty.

Starting off with the newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines, Michelle Dee knew she had to come prepared with only the best of the best from LazBeauty. “With [the] MEGA Ball being one of the biggest nights of the year, I had to make sure that my glam team came in ready with all the possible beauty products we need.” She prepped her skin with the Kemans Facial Serum before makeup artist Dave Quiambao used the Avon Color Power Stay 24Hr Liquid Foundation as her base—a must-use for any grand event such as this. “For my lashes, I used the Avon 5-in-1 Lash Genius, and for my lips, I used the Avon Ultra Matte Lipstick in the shade Divine Twig.”

“My makeup artist, Emman Magpantay, used a variety of products for the sultry look we were going for,” says Ry. To create a shimmering and alluring look to match her Raf Villas number, Magpantay used the Neutrogena HydroBoost cream to groom her skin. To amp up her glowing facade, she asked her trusted makeup artist to use her favorite MAC highlighter in Iced Apricot, along with the Chu Chu Beauty Heart Blush Duo in Dear Lily.
For Toni, she enlisted makeup artist Angeline Tan to accentuate her glistening skin with a nude palette on her face. “To contour and sculpt my face, Angeline used the Strokes Face Sculpt, a personal holy grail that beats some of my higher-end cream contour products.” The LazBeauty Affiliate also added that it wasn’t just her face that needed glam, too. The Lovely Causemetics Body Glow body oil was also applied to her decolletage to match her equally shimmering Vee Tan gown.
