The Photoshoot and Swimsuit challenges are already giving us a glimpse on two significant segments in the coronation night—the showcase of their evening gowns and the swimsuits. As the contestants continue to give their all in their remaining days of the competition, MEGA rounds up their recent performances for this month’s big challenge.
Giving glam glory
For their first challenge this month, each delegate donned a Filipino-designed evening gown and posed in front of the camera. Serving looks that are more than just about chicness and luxury, glam represents the strength and power it takes to rule. Of course, Miss Universe Philippines takes it to the next level with a glam photoshoot at night.
After a week-long voting process in the app, five contenders dominated the first challenge. Representing Agusan Del Norte, Jannarie Zarzoso wore matching crystal-crusted coordinates that showcased her figure.
Next on the list is Princess Anne Marcos from Bulacan who smized with all her might, accentuating her frosted eye look.
Eastern Samar representative Airissh Ramos showcased her fiery fighting spirit in a red almost heroine-like number.
Meanwhile, Angelique Manto from Pampanga kept it clean and classy with her high ponytail and velvet frilled frock.
Completing the top five roster is Lesly Sim hailing from Quezon Province who powered through with her red number, smokey eyes, and dragon earrings.
Sizzling through summer
The second challenge stirs away from the chic, glamorous looks and turns up the heat for the women’s swimsuit challenge. Contestants wore beachwear of various types and cuts to showcase their daytime glow under the sun. While awaiting for the official votes from the app, there are already delegates whose looks are winning people over on Instagram.
Pauline Amelinckx from Bohol is currently on the lead with 52,000 likes and counting. The Belgian-Boholana’s hooded bikini seems to be the standout among the other swimwears worn by the other contestants.
Meanwhile, Angelique is again cementing her presence in this challenge by garnering the next top post with 38,000 likes as of writing. The morena beauty opted for a triangle bikini.
Makati’s pageant veteran Michelle Dee sets her eyes on the crown with a smizing moment clad in her one-shoulder bandeau bikini. There is indeed that fire of passion in her eyes.
Last but definitely not the least is Krishna Marie Gravidez from Baguio City in her plunging bikini. She may be representing the Summer Capital of the Philippines, but she is surely serving a summer look and leaving a burning mark at that.
Making their way to the crown
For their third challenge, the delegates donned their Jojo Bragais heels and strutted along Arroceros Forest Park for their runway challenge. Surrounded by the park’s greenery, the women paraded their own iterations of their modern Filipinianas. Watch as each contender proves that they are ready to covet the crown by walking towards it.
