With a name that perfectly embodies his artistic prowess, this creative possesses a special knack for making use of every aspect of photography, from lighting to composition, to produce enchanting photographs.

Without a doubt, Magic nailed the spirit of this year’s MEGA Ball in a way that is uniquely his own. In an exclusive interview with MEGA, the photographer shared his preparations for the event and how he added his own artistic flair to make it truly unforgettable.
The photographer’s point of view
When asked about his initial reaction to the ball’s theme, Magic responded with just three words: “Excited and nervous.” Considering that this was his very first time covering the MEGA Ball, it comes as not much of a surprise. The photographer also shared that from the very start, he had one clear goal in mind: to showcase the guests’ honest, unfiltered, and joyful personalities.
Not only did Magic fulfill his duties as a photographer, but he also expressed that he thoroughly enjoyed himself at the ball. “I enjoyed every aspect of it. From the guests to the program, there were lots of familiar and new faces. I just love how MEGA wanted my own vision and style for the event,” he shared.
Magic mentioned that he definitely had an incredible night, capturing the true spirit of the event. From the authentic interactions he had with the guests to the contagious enthusiasm of everyone posing in front of his lens, he shared that the highlight of his experience was witnessing attendees let loose and get very candid in front of his camera.
Playful portraits
Capturing sultriness and fun could not have been more seamless than through the lens of Magic—from Michelle Dee, Celeste Cortesi, to Jessica Yang. The lensman’s artistry was on full display as he took shots that exuded romance yet managed to infuse a playful and refined touch to them. With a flourish of artistic hues and style, he brought his creative vision to life. The results were like masterpieces, fashioned with meticulous attention to detail.
Candid captures
If there’s one thing Magic is a master at, it’s getting authentic and natural reactions from the people he photographs. True to form, this year’s images revealed the attendees’ raw and genuine emotions. The photographer’s lens captured the essence of the event, freezing in time the sweet encounters shared by couples like Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi, and Rhian Ramos and Sam Verzosa, and intimate conversations between notable groups like Vern and Verniece Enciso with their respective partners, as well as the stunning Belo Babies Team.
