Another layer of Benoit Blanc’s next great case is unpeeled
With Netflix debuting the full-length trailer for the colorful follow-up to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, it is only a matter of time before viewers finally get to witness the Daniel Craig-portrayed Benoit Blanc at work once more.

No crucial plot details are bared as the trailer shows the detective on a private island in Greece after being invited by Edward Norton’s Miles Bron, along with the former’s own friends, for a night to solve a murder mystery involving none other than Bron himself as the victim.
But alas, it is revealed that it is not all fun and games as the sneak peek reveals that an actual murder has taken place on the island, with Blanc already on the case as things take a turn for the worse. An actual murderer has run amok on the scene and tension starts to build up.
It does not help either that the final scene implies danger for the detective, with a uniquely engraved gun seen more than once in the trailer being pointed at Blanc with his back turned from the assailant.

While nothing else about the plot is revealed from this point on, more scenes are revealed for the film’s new characters compared to the first teaser released last September.
Featuring an entirely new cast, more scenes are shown for personalities portrayed by Leslie Odom Jr., Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, and Kate Hudson to name a few, giving viewers a glimpse of who Blanc might just be working with or against.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will be released on December 23, 2022 on Netflix, while a limited, one-week theatrical run is set to start a month prior. For now, viewers can wrap around their heads about how another real murder mystery featuring Benoit Blanc might just turn out this time.
