We love to brunch. Just like Carrie Bradshaw and her girlfriends in Sex and The City, we can never pass up an occasion to dress up and drinks with breakfast. For those who have missed catching up with friends over coffee or grabbing a late night cocktail with colleagues after work, Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery is the place to be.
Responsible for crowd-favorite Mr. Jones, Providore, and Farmer’s Table, restaurateurs Annabella and Martin Wisniewski of the Raintree Hospitality Group introduce Jones All Day–a bistro that goes the extra mile to serve up something new and interesting to the classic all-day breakfast menu. They have their very own seafood bar and sushi counter that serve fresh Pacific Oysters and fish that can all be ordered through the Jones Seafood Tower. Also worth a try are their famous Filipino dishes and the classic hotcakes and pastries.
Located at Serendra in BGC, Jones All Day’s tangerine and mint green colors make it stand out from its neighboring restaurants while the various woven and solihiya accents give it chic but warm and casual vibe. But what makes Jones All Day such a welcoming place is their staff, which take the extra mile to make customers feel, not just safe and comfortable, but like beloved regulars.
Choose to dine at their breezy and sunny al fresco area, surrounded by fresh herbs that the chefs actually pick from for their dishes. Best of all, even your fur babies can tag along, since pets are welcome at this seating area.
Headed by Chef Kalel Chan, Jones All Day offers a wide range of dishes segregated into stations in the kitchen, and specifically curated to serve each kind of customer. “We aim our menu to be something that three or more generations in a family can eat. We have our savory proteins for Dad, while our pant-based kofta called the Jones Vegan Bowl can be for Ate and our sweet dishes can be enjoyed by the kids,” says Chef Kalel.
Favorites include the Shrimp Agua Chile, which features sweet jalapeño sauce, cucumber, red onions, and is served with freshly fried tortillas chips. The dish is simple, refreshing and yet addictive. Another must-try is the house-made handkerchief pasta called “Dan Dan,” a sweet and nutty pasta that’s made with Szechuan chili oil, garlic, cilantro, and sesame seeds for a full-on hearty meal.
Mr. Jones’ Filipino Breakfast is also one of their staples which can be served with either the famous Mr. Jones’ melt-in-your-mouth tapa, garlicky longganisa, or crispy smoked bangus. For the titas, who love a good cocktail, don’t skip out on their list of drinks that’s as Instragrammable as they are thirst quenching. For teetotalers, there are also refreshing non-alcoholic beverages to try.
You can also stop by their in-store grocery called “Jonesery” where they sell locally-made and sourced artisanal goods from small and medium Filipino enterprises.
Set your next brunch date at Jones All Day Bistro & Bakery which is located at the ground floor of Serendra Piazza, Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
