From precise tailoring, adding standout embellishments, and even mesmerizing hints of beauty looks, Hollywood’s finest men sure knew how to dress up their dapper suits this time around.

Ansel Elgort
All hail the prince! Effortlessly radiating like a dashing young royal, Ansel Elgort was a striking standout on the red carpet wearing a deep blue velvet Tom Ford jacket, complemented with a Tiffany & Co. diamond brooch. And if you’ll look at him very closely, you’ll notice a he added a shimmer mermaid tears and painted nails for his beauty look. Age-old masculine archetypes? He obviously doesn’t know him.
Wesley Snipes
A storied stalwart of the Hollywood red carpet, Wesley Snipes argued that the Victorian ruffled shirt should make a proper comeback, and boy did he show us. The star wore a burgundy Bogard suit with wide velvet lapels, which he marvelously paired with a light pink shirt punctuated by a ruffled bib.
Barry Jenkins
Giving us a contemporary take on the usual red carpet suits, director Barry Jenkins donned an unmistakable Thom Browne checked gray suit, which he finished off with a traditional bow. What made him truly stand out was the triple stripes accent on his trousers and jacket on one side, a signature staple of the irreverent menswear brand.
Daniel Craig
Let’s admit it: we love the classics. Now, while some would say keeping things classic is boring, you still can’t deny the fact that is indeed effortless to standout wearing one. But in Daniel Craig’s case, he’s often—if not always—at the epicenter of the fashion attention, more so at the 77th Golden Globes where he wore a classic bespoke black double-breasted tuxedo.

Consistently proving that there’s no need to conform to the gender norms, Billy Porter arrived in a grand showing of style in a pristine white creation by Alex Vinash that was accented by a long feathered train. To complete his incandescent and immaculate interpretation of modern menswear, the Pose star toted a mini black bag.
Andrew Scott
While the majority of the men opted for black suits, Andrew Scott chose the opposite end of the color spectrum. The Fleabag star cut a handsome figure on the red carpet of the Globes in a white tuxedo suit and finished off with a big champagne-colored bow and patent black leather lace-ups.
