OMEGA’s newest Antimagnetic Tourbillon matters to our timepiece more than what we thought. While a lot of external factors, like cellular phones, expose your watch to a magnetic force field leading to a negative performance such as poor timing accuracy or worse, your watch stops working, antimagnetic watch advancements become more prevalent and that’s where OMEGA’s expert watchmakers step in. Giving us no other than an exceptional timepiece built with the first-ever Master Chronometer certified manual-winding central Tourbillon. Taking around an entire month to complete one, this timepiece is handcrafted by a group of horologists at OMEGA’s Atelier Tourbillon.

Known for the Swiss industry’s highest standard of precision and performance, OMEGA’s expert watchmakers crafted a tourbillon cage that is able to keep rotating even under a magnetic field of 15,000 gauss. They have also set the Tourbillon’s speed to one revolution per minute allowing the display of seconds. Looking closely, you can view the impressive OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 2640 through the sapphire crystal caseback while serving you also with a view of its 3-day power reserve indicator.

From the first-ever Tourbillon calibre to the first self-winding Central Tourbillon watch to the first Chronometer certified Tourbillon, OMEGA continuously creates history with nothing but innovations that drive excellent results.

Even its design indicates brilliance, indeed a luxury in every tick. Made from 18K SednaTM gold, the bridges and mainplate are hand-bevelled for a decorative finish. Hugging your wrist are the black leather strap, 43.00 mm central casebody, buckle logo and crown logo that are made from 18K CanopusTM gold, which is an exclusive white gold alloy. Meanwhile, OMEGA’s own fiery rose gold alloy, the 18K SednaTM gold made the lugs, bezel, caseback, and its sun-brushed dial. For the incomparable OMEGA style, the tourbillon cage found in the centre of the dial drives the movement of the unique and mysterious hands.

OMEGA De Ville Tourbillon Numbered Edition comes with OMEGA’s full 5-year warranty, and is delivered in a special box with a travel pouch, watch crown winder, and a certificate that mentions the specific number of each watch. For more information on OMEGA, check @omega on Instagram.
