These celebrities prove to everyone that you can still enjoy the holidays in style. Here’s how you can do it, too.
Whoever said that the holidays are canceled is totally wrong, because in true Filipino spirit, this season’s festivities will push through. Now, it’s safe to assume that we’re all feeling the so-called Christmas rush. Meaning, we’re on the lookout for what to buy for our loved ones and for ourselves, too. And just recently, a new kind of party season happened.
It’s no secret that the homegrown fast-fashion giant Bench has always been mounting its bi-annual fashion week. While the coronavirus pandemic may have barred them from holding events, they sure know the true meaning of “the show must go on.” Last November 27, the local brand successfully pushed through with their tradition; this time, it’s in the form of a virtual show.
This presentation of fashion films is right in step with the digital fashion shows that are now de rigeur for fashion brands all over the world. And the best thing about online shows is that everyone is equal—we can all have a front-row seat.
According to Bench, “We decided to create the digital fashion show in lieu of the in-person event because, in times like this, we need to bring something new, something fresh in new avenues that people have access to. We can still gather with our guests, albeit online, to celebrate fashion. We decided to create this new iteration of Bench Fashion Week on a digital platform to signal that we are still here, we are ready and running, we can serve your needs in style.”
And since this is a fashion week, it won’t be complete without seeing notable personalities strutting the runway and striking a pose like a true top model. From Gabbi Garcia, Maine Mendoza, to Bea Alonzo, we listed down the stars that caught our attention during Bench Fashion Week 2020.
