Since the series’ premiere, thousands of fans have fallen in love with the charming and enchanting Daphne Bridgerton—even more as everyone watched her journey grow with Regé-Jean Page’s Simon Basset. In the following season, her character was mostly seen on the sidelines as Jonathan Bailey’s Anthony Bridgerton and Simone Ashley’s Kate beguiling romance took the spotlight.
In a recent interview, Phoebe Dynevor shared that her character had a great arc, and it’s now time for her to just sit back and enjoy the rest of the series unfold as she watches along with us. Though many Bridgerton enthusiasts expressed their thoughts, saying that it’s quite understandable since her story was already told in season one, we can’t deny that we will definitely miss her mesmerizing aura in the series. So to put things on a lighter note, we look back on Phoebe Dynevor’s iconic looks as Daphne from Bridgerton.
The diamond’s introduction
It’s the first look of the series and all of us were already swooning with her beauty. Daphne looked regal in her empire waist dress decorated with subtle gold embroidery. For the finish touch, a golden tiara with feathers was placed to complement her dress while a silver diamond necklace adorned her neck.
The courtship
Although Daphne had her eyes on Duke Simon, she also met Prince Friedrich of Prussia in a pastel blue dress. It was dainty and sweet as lace panels cascaded down the dress, and lace cuffs were placed on her wrist.
The game of enticement
It’s a game women used to play to see which man they can capture with their subtle moves. As for Daphne, she moved gracefully in her white sparkling gown. The bodice was heavily glittered as pearls scattered across the skirt and sleeves while a soft fabric flowed down from the bust, a detail that moved elegantly as she walked.
The Danbury fête
Hosted by Lady Danbury, we see Daphne in a lavishly embellished gown. Though the intention of the dress was to show her status as a debutante, the bodice was decorated with embellishments, which slowly diffused the dress. She finished the look with a delicate blue necklace and a pair of opera-length gloves.
The honeymoon stage
After their quick elope escapade, Daphne wore a muted purple gown with dark purple pearls adorned all over. She kept her hair down for a more relaxed look while a simple necklace was placed on her neck.
