Known for its fun and quirky pieces, Plains & Prints just unveiled another double-tap worthy collection. This time, it’s with local accessory designer ARANAZ who, incidentally has been featured on Vogue Paris, Moda Operandi and the fashionable Olivia Palermo’s blog.
ARANAZ perfectly showcases the Philippines’ best local craftsmanship merged with excellent artistry along with Plains & Prints’ penchant for everyday elegance. Not only did they make a 7-piece clothing collection, they’ve managed to create hand bags too! See the full collection below:
“It’s definitely a fun woman who enjoys the tropical life. She loves vibrant colors and prints. She loves living the seaside life even if she’s here in the city,” gushes designer Amina Aranaz when asked what kind of women does she envision wearing this collection. You’ll be able to spot some of the designer’s distinct touches such as the pineapple and flamingo prints, which the brand is well-known for.
“For the bags, we made hard clutches using the flamingo print with wicker balls as accent. The whole collection is fabric-based, and of course, we’re known for our handmade touches that’s why we added wickers,” shares Amina. The handbags are full of vibrant colors, complemented by touches of earthy tones.
