In an empowering post, the host detailed her breakout story. “I feel you na nakakababa talaga ng self-esteem kapag nag-breakout, lalo at madalas sa WFH, mukha talaga natin ang nakikita ng iba,” she wrote. “So, to anyone suffering from acne — don’t think ‘you’re not supposed to feel bad about such a small problem. Your feelings are valid!”

Elisse Joson is definitely not afraid to go unfiltered. In 2021, the actress posted a makeup-free selfie where she revealed her bare skin. “Days when we feel good about ourselves vs. days when we feel the worst and it’s okay to feel both,” she captioned. Even so, it’s an empowering move to celebrate the beauty of real skin including blemishes, hyperpigmentation, dark circles, scars, and all.
