American Sleeve Cropped Bra Sleeveless Top
For writer Charm, having a clothing that doubles as a bra and top was one of the collection’s best assets. “The American Sleeve Cropped Bra Sleeveless Top has soft padded cups with mesh and an elastic band lining, which I do find to be helpful in keeping the breasts in place. Even those with larger bust sizes may find that it offers great support—perfect when you’re on a leisurely stroll with friends or doing errands on your own. The best part is since it’s a two-in-one product, it’s so convenient for those who are always on the go. Just throw it on and you’re ready to tackle the day.” She adds, “I think pairing it with a pair of Uniqlo Wide Straight Jeans would make for the perfect casual, going-out-to-the-mall outfit.”
For Copy Editor Chlarine, the cropped top gave her a feel of ease with the built-in bra feature. “Some people think a built-in bra can be uncomfortable and hot due to the weather, but Uniqlo’s fit makes this feature comfortable and easy to wear. The halter lining adds a little bit of style to it, which makes the piece something that you can dress up or down.”
Digital Editor Mia also agrees with how comfortable and versatile the Bra Top is. “I haven’t worn an underwire bra in years as someone who has a petite frame and smaller chest. I’m more familiar with other bra alternatives such as nipple tape or ‘pasties’, however it’s not always the most affordable and long-wearing option,” she admits. “Nipple tape tend to slip off from sweat and you constantly have to keep replacing them. So, when I tried the Bra Tops, I was suprised with how secure and pleasant it felt. Almost like I was wearing no bra but had the coverage and support I need.”
Halter Neck Bra Sleeveless Top
Choosing tops can be a tricky thing, especially since it must factor in how it sits right for us. For Charm, halter tops used to be a neckline that she would steer clear of because of its tightness around the neck. “Besides that, I also shy away from wearing one because I can never find the right bra to wear it. Strapless is not an option, as it just slips right off.”
Charm finds that Uniqlo’s Halter Neck Bra Top eliminates all these issues. Despite its tighter fit, its built-in bra feature doesn’t leave any impression–lending to a smooth and seamless appearance. “Not to mention, I don’t have to worry about awkward bra straps peeking through,” Charm adds.
As for Chlarine, the halter top’s cut and neckline are a good choice for her sensitive skin. “Wearing tight clothing especially on areas with thinner and sensitive skin such as the armpits can cause friction and irritation. This top, however, is more breathable for me. Also, the rich red colorway is personally one of my favorites because as much as it is a statement piece, it’s also a top that can mesh well with different bottoms—be it shorts, skirts, or pants.”
Meanwhile, Charm shares, “I got the version in white and red, which I think is incredibly chic. I would pair it with Uniqlo’s High Rise Baggy Denim Shorts for a cute retro look–perfect for park or picnic dates.”
For Mia, jeans and a quality tank top is a no-fail outfit pairing when it comes to everyday, so she appreciated that the line offerered various silhouettes like a halter neckline that she can mix in to her daily rotation. “The halter neckline combined with the stripes makes it look totally 90s,” she explains. “I prefer wearing it with a good pair of denim, sneakers, and to complete the nostalgic look, a baseball cap.”

Last on the list, the AIRism Tube and AIRism Camisole tops were both made of Uniqlo’s signature AIRism fabric—a blend of cotton, nylon, and spandex. The material feels incredibly soft and lightweight against the skin. “It doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing anything at all with how silky it feels,” Charm comments. “The AIRism Tube Top is something that I would wear underneath the Uniqlo Miracle Air Pleated Pants and Miracle Air Jacket for the perfect corporate look. Since it has detachable bra straps, this top can also be paired with Uniqlo Pleated Shorts creating a comfortably chic loungewear. Meanwhile, the AIRism Camisole Top is something that I would personally wear with a pair of Uniqlo Leggings for a comfortable yoga outfit. I discovered that the AIRism fabric is quick drying, so you won’t get awkward sweat stains while doing something more active.“
Chlarine weighs in, “I’ve used the AIRism tops for years now, and I wear them in many ways and for several occasions. It’s so lightweight that I can wear it on its own, tightening my stomach area a bit, too. When I wear sheer clothing, they’re also the perfect undergarment, too. At times, I prefer wearing them rather than bras because they tighten my torso, protect my chest, and keep my breasts in place.”
