This July, Kiehl’s Philippines celebrates their second anniversary of their Made Better Campaign with a bang. The brand collaborated with celebrity twins Richard and Raymond Gutierrez for limited-edition products. These will help fund the conservation of marine life in the Philippines.
Made Better is Kiehl’s platform to spread awareness and direct their efforts towards sustainability. This year, they are doing this by introducing limited-edition variants of two cult favorites, which was designed by the Gutierrez twins.
Since its launch, Kiehl’s Calendula Toner has been a bestselling product. With Calendula flower petals and Great Burdock Root Extract, the toner effectively soothes oily to normal skin types.
The other product is the brand’s Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream. The lightweight gel moisturizer doesn’t just hydrate, but provides 24-hour protection as well.
The limited-edition variants of these products feature exclusive art that was inspired by one of Richard’s underwater portraits of a humpback whale he witnessed while diving. “When they asked us to do this, there was no question: Kiehl’s is a brand we love,” starts Raymond during their campaign launch. “And the fact that they have the Made Better campaign for sustainable living made it a no-brainer for us that we wanted to be involved.”
The Limited-Edition Calendula Toner (P1450) and the Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream (P1750) are available starting July 17, 2019 in Kiehl’s retain stores nationwide. For more information about the campaign, follow Kiehl’s Philippines on Instagram at @kiehlsphilippines.
